April 2026 Ministry Update

Shining God’s Love Globally!

We’ve been so excited to take two ministry trips in the US over the last three months and to teach for over two weeks to students in South Asia. Also, our Leadership Network is growing as we support and mentor leaders of all ages, both online and in person, every month.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS

MISSISSIPPI MINISTRY TRIP

In January, we had a great time connecting with our Mississippi friends and their church. We were invited to share in several small groups and to have some time with the pastor. What a blessing to see the good work they are doing and to be able to encourage them!

S. ASIA TEACHING ONLINE

What a joy to teach two different groups of students in S. Asia for 2 weeks! Topics included sharing our faith, spiritual gifts, and our calling.

CITY COMMIT CONFERENCE

This year’s conference was a great two-day experience! It was a great opportunity to connect with area ministries and non-profits like ours, and grow in our leadership skills.

CATHEDRAL FRIENDS

We visited an amazing cathedral in New Jersey on Palm Sunday and made a lot of wonderful friends that morning. So fun to meet new people, encourage them, and share our faith!

FUN AT THE CAMPSITE

On our ministry trip up the E. Coast, we met many friendly people like this young family at a Virginia campsite. What a joy to have time to hear their story and share God’s love with them!

TIRE BLOWOUT

Our camper tire blew on a dangerous place on the interstate and this service man kept us safe while we replaced it. As cars zoomed by, we asked if we could offer him prayer before he left. He said it was a divine appointment, God was drawing him and he knew it!

BARN TREASURES

Driving through N. Carolina we came upon some real treasures. A barn full of antiques and over 20 tractors. They were kind enough to let us look it all over and hang out with them. The real treasure was these 2 guys who let us pray with them before we left.

MONUMENT VENDOR

This young man was a blessing! We were checking out the Lincoln Memorial in DC (amazing!) and he was there selling ice cold drinks. He was very appreciative of the prayer we prayed over him there. A little kindness goes a long way!

PRAYING AT THE GYM

On our trip we often went to the gym to work out a bit and clean up. We met this young man when we were about to leave. We asked him about his future plans and had a moment to pray with him there.

LED BY THE SPIRIT

Our trip up the East Coast was a minimal planning—led by the Spirit kind of trip. We had plans of doing ministry in parks, but that opportunity never presented itself. What we discovered was that God wanted this trip to be more about learning how to truly be led by the Holy Spirit, looking for opportunities to connect with people one on one during our two week trip. We found ways to pray with people one on one during our two week trip. We found ways to pray with many people at hotels, in restaurants, campsites, cathedrals, in their homes, and even on the side of the interstate with cars blazing by.

Many individuals adopt a facade, a mask they present to the world, but when you take a minute to ask them how you can pray with them or how they are really doing, they often cry right away and want a prayer, a connection, a hug. It was a great reminder  that God wants believers to be “salt and light” wherever we go, ready in season and out of season, to share our faith and the Good News of the Gospel.

So, how are you, really? Know that God loves you, has a plan for you and wants to bless you and your family as you follow Him! For more info on sharing your faith and about Jesus, the “Light that leads to life”, click here. Please contact us if we can help in any way!
