Spring 2026 Ministry Update

Shining God’s Love Globally!

We’ve been so excited to take two ministry trips in the US over the last three months and to teach two groups of students in South Asia for two weeks! We also taught in a church in Florida, went to a leadership conference, and connect weekly through Bible Study Zoom groups. We are also blessed to see our leadership network growing as we support others and mentor leaders of all ages, both online and in person, locally and internationally, every month.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS

MISSISSIPPI MINISTRY TRIP

In January, we had a great time connecting with our Mississippi friends and their church. We were invited to share in several small groups and to have some time with the pastor. What a blessing to see the good work they are doing and to be able to encourage them!

S. ASIA TEACHING ONLINE

What a joy to teach two different groups of students in S. Asia for 2 weeks! They are so hungry to grow in the Lord and learn! Topics included sharing our faith, spiritual gifts, and how God calls us all to grow and minister.

PREACHING THE WORD

It was such a joy to see the people of New Hope Church in Frostproof, FL again, and preach on Sunday morning. It’s truly a blessing to support this wonderful congregation and witness so many  coming to the altars for healing and renewed hope.

CATHEDRAL FRIENDS

We visited the beautiful cathedral “Basilica of the sacred Heart of Jesus” in New Jersey on Palm Sunday and made a lot of wonderful friends that morning. So fun to meet new people, encourage them, and share our faith!

FUN AT THE CAMPSITE

There’s nothing like the smell of food cooking over a campfire, especially at a nice campsite. We were blessed to enjoy this time together and meet new friends too on our ministry trip up the East Coast. We met many friendly people like this young family at a Virginia campsite. What a joy to have fun with them, hear their story and share God’s love with them!

TIRE BLOWOUT

Our camper tire blew on a blind curve on the interstate and this service man kept us safe while we replaced it. As cars zoomed by, we asked if we could offer him prayer before he left. He said it was a divine appointment, God was drawing him close and he knew it!

FAMILY TIME

God’s timing is always perfect! We were blessed to spend a few days with Aunt Martha and Aunt Bernie (Rhoda’s Aunt’s) and twin sister Rhonda in Myrtle Beach. Aunt Martha was recovering from surgery and they were there to help. We are so grateful to have been able to have some precious time with them!

LEADERSHIP NETWORK

From monthly meetings with local pastors to monthly Zoom calls with leaders in the US, Canada, Lebanon, Indonesia, and now in Vietnam. We love encouraging and teaching leaders of all ages and connecting them with each other. Click here for more info on our Salt & Light Leadership Network.

ABSECON LIGHTHOUSE

This lighthouse in N. Jersey was built in the 1850s and stands 171 feet high. We had the chance to climb the 228 steps to the top, where we encountered a truly remarkable man who has dedicated many years to its care. May God always help us to be a light and beacon of His love!

BARN TREASURES

During our trip through North Carolina, we happened on this barn where we discovered vintage treasures, antiques, and over 20 tractors. The owners were so kind, allowing us to explore everything and spend time with them. The real highlight was hearing stories from these two gentlemen of all their years growing up in this area and their invitation to pray with them before we left.

MONUMENT VENDOR

This young man was a blessing! We were visiting the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. (it was amazing!) and he was there selling refreshingly cold drinks. Our conversation together was beautiful as he shared a little bit about himself. We had the opportunity to pray together before we left. So thankful to meet him!

PRAYING AT THE GYM

During our trip, we often hit the gym to get some exercise and tidy up. As we were about to head out, we met this young man. We chatted about his passion for God, his future and the dreams he had about being in law enforcement. We encouraged him and even had a moment to pray with him about his journey ahead.

LED BY THE SPIRIT

Our trip up the East Coast was a minimal planning—led by the Spirit kind of trip. We had plans of doing ministry in parks, but that opportunity never presented itself. What we discovered was that God wanted this trip to be more about learning how to truly be led by the Holy Spirit, looking for opportunities to connect with people one on one during our two week trip. We found ways to connect and pray with people in places like hotels, restaurants, stores, museums, sidewalks, campsites, cathedrals, in their homes, and even on the side of the interstate with cars blazing by!

Often times we can all wear a mask to seem like everything is fine when at times we’re struggling. When we take a minute to ask others if we can pray with them or ask how they’re really doing, they often open right up, want prayer, a connection, a hug, and sometimes cry through it all. It was a great reminder that God wants believers to be “salt and light” wherever we go, ready in season and out of season, to share our faith and the Good News of the Gospel and much Jesus loves them.

So, how are you, really? We’re praying for you and are here if you’d ever like to connect with us. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask or imagine in your life! Know that God loves you, has a plan for you and wants to bless you and your family as you follow Him.
